Yes, I put a small chip on the edge of my 16600 about a month after I bought it by way of impacting a tap whilst washing my hands! Lived with it for years until its first official service, and then Rolex replaced as they wouldn't run the pressure test otherwise. It's a really tiny chip on the sapphire crystal very close to where it says "Superlative Chonometer." Is there a way to repair this or would I have to get it replaced. How much would this cost, btw?

I just received it back from its last service 3 weeks ago. Not sure which watch model generation you have - but few (if any) vintage cases can take a genuine Rolex sapphire crystal. You might find aftermarket ones but you’d risk poor fitment and loose waterproof-ness since gaskets and bezel wouldn’t be proper fit. I noticed a near imperceptible chip in the sapphire around the 11 o'clock. It's very tiny, but definitely there. Is this an auto send back for some of you or do you keep it until general service or a more significant ding?
There are fake tinted crystal on the market, but a true Rolex crystal is only available from Rolex. Contact the local AD and ask for the nearest Rolex repair center or contact the AD you bought it from and they will take care of shipping for you.
So I have four modern Rolex watches from 2019, 2020, and 2021. On all of those watches (purchased new from the AD) I can barely see the laser etched crown in the crystal. I have to get out a 10X loop and get the lighting perfect to see it. Not to jinx myself but I've never scratched or chipped a sapphire crystal. I've seen some shattered when the watch is dropped on a hard surface but not dinged like this. Like any other scratch, you can wear it as a badge of honor. Scuffed/scratched Rolex sapphire - what are my options? So, within four weeks of buying my 2013 116610 I've somehow managed to bash the cyclops on something, leaving a rather unsightly scuff/chip right on the top of the dome. I've tried to live with it but can't, every time I look at the watch it's all I see!

I recently picked up my new Rolex datejust41 and have had it for about a week. I noticed a small mark on the lower corner near the pet the crystal is raised. I’ve only got around to realising now it’s not dirt etc. But actually a minor chip / scratch. Any advice on what to do?
