He is also introduced into high society where he meets Gabrielle Chanel. Coco Chanel, the queen of Parisian chic, and Salvador Dalí, the master of surrealist dreamscapes, seem like an unlikely pair. Yet, their friendship, forged in the vibrant artistic circles of 1930s Paris, thrived despite their contrasting styles .
