Anybody out there choose the PAM01392 over the 392 and glad they did? I like that the 1392 case is slimmer and has the newer movement but I go back and forth on the blue seconds hand and yellowish hands/indices. 392 is thicker and has the more traditional, cleaner dial without the dreaded ‘Automatic’ label, and it has the green lume vs patina. The 1392 being flatter felt much bigger than 392. Tried 682 on in Italy and man what an amazing fit for me.
My local Ben Bridge boutquie have both models on display, I love the 1392 except that blue second hand, I am old fashion and prefer the 392 uni-color hand better. However, the thinner case of 1392 seem to solve all the problem of top heavy in previous model.

The new Officine Panerai Luminor Marina 1950 3 Days PAM 1312 sports a black sandwich dial with 'ecru' superluminova, blue running seconds hand and with the writing 'Automatic' right under Panerai. The watch features a date aperture at 3 o'clock. It is slimmer than older models, and the 1392 is a 42mm face, which is on the smaller side of the PAM spectrum. It is beautiful on the wrist, the large face draws the eye and I love the simplicity of the dial. The blue second hand is a nice touch that I .
