Hello everyone, I’m planning on purchasing a Platinum DD and so far I think the new ice blue Roman dial is my top pick. I haven’t seen any incomings on here and was just wondering if anyone on the forum has purchased or seen one in person yet.
Managed to secure an OP34 Black Dial for my mother as a walk in yesterday, we will collect at the weekend for fitting etc. I think its a perfect daily wearer for her. Question or comment comes around the 34mm size. Dial dots don't work on the 2824 unless you eliminate the date wheel. You can use another dial with feet intact and make a backer that will work far better. You would eliminate the dial spacer.
A lot of white dial watches use polished silver colored hands which can tend to get lost in the dial. A huge appeal to me on the Polar Explorer is the legibility. The white dial is so clean, and the black hands and markers make this watch easy to read the time in any setting.

Rolex Submariner 40mm Model 16610 stainless with black dial/bezel. This is a "X" serial dating it to 1991. It was serviced by an AD (David Gardners) in 6/2022 and also three links were added recently by the same AD. This now has 13 links for a larger wrist (original would have only had 12 I believe).
No one is obligated to share their info but if you bought a new Rolex in 2022 and you'd like to participate, please make a top-level comment that includes: What watch did you buy? When? How long did you wait? Where are you? (Be as specific or nonspecific as you want, from continent to a specific AD) Any purchase history with that AD?
