There are no restrictions on the Rolex 3135 movement. "date-setting is not recommended between 8pm and 2am." To avoid this, you pull the crown out and advance the movement (hands) forward to a "safe" position, then set the date, then move the hands back to the correct time.. Rolex had absolutely no problem selling wristwatches containing the 3135 movement. They kept the damn movement for thirty years, after all, and no one complained about it being ‘old’ or ‘outdated’ or problematic in any way.
The problem is that I know the 3235 is better power reserve of 70 vs 40h of 3135, but is the 3235 better than 3135 in any other circumstance ?
