I've got a late 60s Seamaster 611 that has been getting condensation under the glass, mainly when I wear it under a shirt sleeve on hot or humid days. The condensation leaves on its own within a couple hours or days. I have a 69' omega speedmaster pre moon i recently purchased. Was driving one day with my hand near the aircondition of my car then i noticed that it fogged inside the glass. I put the watch in a warm area ( on top of my coffee) then the fog disappears but as soon as i wear it it forms back again.

This can only mean that there is a leak somewhere allowing moisture to get in, either near the crown or the crystal. I would recommend taking it to a professional as only they will be able to completely dehumidify the watch and perhaps fix the leak. I’ve been super busy and haven’t noticed that my omega speedmaster had been fogging up with condensation. What is my move her to minimize damage. I don’t want to have to pay for a full overhaul and obviously I will if I need to, but that really sucks.

I hope Omega resolves the problem for your SMP as soon as possible. Its cool. In general, i pretty much realistic that no watch is infallible, and its very possible it just leaked.
