Chanel truly is a brand for the Swiss Army Knife of fragrances. They have a lot of well made and likeable frags in their portfolio. In their new relaeases I miss a bit of creativity though (for the frags marketed towards men). Simply divine, and nothing else like it. Chanel No 19, Sycomore, Coco, Coco Noir, Chanel No 22, and vintage Chanel No 5 and um others are close behind. My personal favourite is La Pausa. Such an elegant, almost austere iris with plenty of lovely green touches.
